COUNSELOR NEWS:
Day Air Credit Union is hosting a College Prep Night at the Dayton Dragons' Ballpark on Wednesday, September 9th, from 6-8 PM. Representatives from colleges throughout the Midwest will be available to provide information. Register for this free event at: daytondragons.com/collegeprep.
The 2026 Jamestown Lions Club Fall Festival is September 18th and 19th. Applications are now being accepted for the Fall Festival Queen and her Court. The link to the applications can be found in your Greeneview email. The deadline to apply is September 1st.
ATTENTION:
Picture Day is Monday, August 31st! Picture information is available in the front office. CCP students who do not have a first or second period class will need to come in before 9:00 am to have their picture taken for the yearbook and Seniors for the class composite picture.
Students who DO NOT have their One View forms completed by Monday, August 31 will receive a detention.
Our first PBIS reward of the school year will be this Thursday, September 3rd. Students may purchase a beverage at the Ram Cafe in Mr. Old's Room for free using one PBIS card.
Rams Read starts Wednesday during Home Teams. Bring something to read or check out a book from the library.
Students who park in the high school parking lot at any time throughout the school day must have a parking pass. Passes can be purchased in the main office for $10. Students parking without a parking pass will receive a detention.
Student Council is starting to plan Homecoming, and they want all those who are interested in art and would have fun designing posters and tickets for this year's dance. Please contact jaycie.christian@Greeneview.org if you are interested or have ideas. This will be a competition, so bring your best!
Jamestown has a new community center, Only Imagine Community Center. They will host events for 8th through 12th graders called 5th Quarter. Students can attend for free with a signed parent permission slip. They will provide food, beverages, arcade type games, music and a bonfire.
*A 5th Quarter event will follow every home football game.
*Students cannot enter without a signed parental permission slip. That permission slip is valid for all events this school year.
*If you are interested, there are flyers and parental permission slips available in the Main Office. The first event is after our home football game this Friday night.
Students in grades 8–12 are invited to join our joint middle and high school disc golf club! All skill levels are welcome, and extra discs are available if needed. We will play on Mondays, from Sept. 17 – Oct. 12, after school until 3:30 PM. We will meet at the disc golf course next to the high school. Greeneview Wrestling is hosting open mat on Tuesday afternoons from 3-4:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room. All boys and girls in grades 7-12 are welcome. No experience necessary. Newcomers are welcome! If you have any questions, see Coach Matt in room 218.

TUTORING - Starting August 31
Greeneview High School offers FREE after school tutoring to any interested student. Tutoring is drop-in (no appointment necessary) and held in the teacher's room. If you have a specific question or need help in a subject, this is a great opportunity to get your answer.
